Everyone who wants to do well investing on the JSE needs to have a good and clear understanding of the market, how the JSE works and how to assess the value of a share. To ensure that everyone is able to reap the benefits, this home study course has been designed to start with the basics before moving onto more advanced topics.

Experience
The Sharenet course has been developed by Ian de Lange CA (SA) BCompt BCompt(Hons) BCom(Hons). Ian qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992, passed the Investment General and Investment Advice exams set by the Institute of Stockbrokers in 1998 and completed his Honors in Financial and Portfolio Management at the University of Cape Town. His Market Focus newsletter has been providing excellent returns for our clients that far exceed those of the JSE overall index and make consistent gains even in adverse market conditions.

Doing the course
The course is delivered to your door in hard copy format, for you to do in your own time. Should you feel the need for some face-to-face interaction, Ian de Lange - the course author - gives seminars in Johannesburg and Cape Town once every two months, which will give you an opportunity to explore aspects of the JSE Course in more detail, as well as take advantage of a Q&A session. There are 3 different seminars that are repeated every 6 months and we will send you 3 tickets with the course.
